    The campaign shows the offending graffiti on walls, toilet doors and public areas around London corrected with paint pens and stickers.The stickers direct children and their parents to The Tutor Crowd’s online service for a free English tuition trial.

    As well as highlighting the need for English tuition, the work aims to debunk the myth that it’s stuffy, old-fashioned and expensive, repositioning it as online and available from expert tutors anytime and anywhere.

    The campaign, called “Take The Classroom To The Streets”, is running outdoor across London, in areas including Shoreditch, Old Street, Brick Lane, South Bank and Camden and will appear online at thetutorcrowd.tumblr.com
    The work, which breaks online this week, and was written and art directed by Dan Kennard and Ben Smith.

    Patrick Wilson, founder of The Tutor Crowd, said: “Good spelling and grammar is fundamentally important to young people. But teaching it doesn’t have to be old fashioned and stuffy. We wanted to engage parents and young people alike, and make them realise that online tuition is an option that’s available to try.”

    Nicole Kidman credits her parents. America Ferrera thanks her fifth grade teacher. And Willie Mays recognizes the impact of his father. To kick-off an online campaign and contest called The Respect Challenge, the national nonprofit Futures Without Violence has produced a PSA that features top celebrities expressing their gratitude to a person who taught them a valuable life lesson — a lesson in Respect.
    The PSA, a key ingredient in the national Facebook campaign which launches on Monday, September 10, features responses from such VIP talent as Nicole Kidman, Ed Harris, Julianne Moore, Gabrielle Union, America Ferrera, Joe Torre, and Willie Mays. Aretha Franklin’s iconic song, “Respect,” provides the soundtrack for the video. The PSA will also be available on Facebook, futureswithoutviolence.org, giverespect.org. and YouTube.
    “There’s never been a better time for a national conversation about Respect,” says Esta Soler founder and president of Futures Without Violence. “Whether you’re on the political campaign trail, or just headed back to middle school, let’s stand up to bullies and remind them about Respect.”
    The interactive Facebook campaign, designed to celebrate everyday role models and heroes, provides an opportunity for the public to write an online thank you note, or post a thank you video about the person who taught them Respect. Two lucky entrants will earn a donation of $10,000 to a school or nonprofit organization of their choice, as well as a VIP trip to New York City to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After the initial entry period (September 10 – October 12), fans will be invited to vote on 10 finalists who have submitted a compelling written note or a video.
    Scheduled for an online launch on Monday, September 10, The Respect Challenge was introduced at the San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game on Sunday, September 9, when the Giants hosted their annual program, Strike Out Violence Day. Baseball legend Willie Mays, featured in the PSA, made a special appearance during the festivities.
    Futures Without Violence, a national nonprofit and social change organization with offices in San Francisco, Washington DC and Boston, created the campaign with the generous help of AKQA, one of the most-respected ideas and innovation agencies in the world. AKQA’s San Francisco Media team not only provided strategic consultation but secured more than $400,000 in donated online advertising space for the campaign and contest.
    Wildfire, a division of Google, and a leading social media marketing software provider, also volunteered their services to design and implement the Facebook application, and America Online’s in-house creative team offered their services to create compelling online banners and advertising units.
    Macy’s, the founding partner of the RESPECT! campaign, has a strong history of support for education and awareness programs that promote positive solutions for healthy relationships.

    British Columbians to Compose Songs for Dairy Cows in New Online Challenge

    The BC Dairy Association invites British Columbians to try their hand at composing original music for a burgeoning new audience of aficionados: milk producing dairy cows.

    Developed by DDB Canada and its integrated groups Tribal DDB Vancouver, DDB Public Relations and OMD Vancouver, the online initiative entitled Music Makes More Milk takes as its basic premise a common observation among dairy farmers that cows respond positively to music.

    “Over time, BC dairy farmers get to know their cows well. They understand their behaviour, their moods, their likes and dislikes,” says Dave Eto, executive director, BC Dairy Association. “One thing they’ve come to learn is that happy cows produce more milk.”

    Music Makes More Milk contestants will use an online music composition tool to create original songs to play for the cows. The tunes of semi-finalist contestants — determined through a public voting system — will have their compositions played directly to cows on a BC dairy farm. Videos of the cows reacting to each shortlisted song will be shared online on November 7, 2012. Ultimately, it is the cows that will serve as the final judges of the contest, identifying an overall winner based on the highest milk production achieved while listening to the five finalists’ compositions. Music-related prizes will be awarded to 15 semi-finalist and five finalists, and the winning contestant will also receive a trip for four to the 55th Annual Grammy™ Awards in Los Angeles.

    “You don’t need to be an accomplished composer to participate. The music composition tool was developed for all ages and music skillsets,” explains Dean Lee, creative director, DDB Canada. “As an added incentive to purchase and drink more milk, contestants can enter UPC codes on milk products to unlock additional sound effects and instruments to include in their composition.”

    The online initiative is being supported with media relations, social media cultivation and a paid-media program with Global TV BC and Slice.ca.

    In order to prime the cows for the contest, an accomplished quartet of classically trained musicians – led by Coast Symphony Orchestra conductor Edette Gagné– visited the Fraser Valley’s Valedoorn Farm yesterday and performed an “opening act” of Mozart numbers.

    The six-week Music Makes More Milk contest launches to the public on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012 and the final winner will be announced on Monday, November 26th, 2012. Everyone is welcome to submit a tune at www.musicmakesmoremilk.com, but only British Columbians may enter the contest...The rest of Canada is not happy about that!

    Brooke Shields "Shut Up" La-Z Boy Commercials

    To commemorate La-Z-Boy's 85th anniversary, the campaign includes a TV commercial promoting a national sales event. "We're excited about this promotional spot and feel it's the perfect time to invite customers to come see our collection of customizable home furnishings, including sofas, sectionals, ottomans and more," said Doug Collier, Chief Marketing Officer and President International at La-Z-Boy. "The anniversary commercial celebrates our 85-year history by having a little fun with Brooke and poking some fun at ourselves, while showing our beautiful and unexpected home furnishings."

    La-Z-Boy's agency of record, RPA, teamed with @radical.media Director Dave Meyers to create four TV commercials, a pair of online videos, four national print ads and other digital content.

    The first TV commercial, which started airing in early August, "Big Deal/Anniversary Sale," opens on Shields in the midst of an elegantly decorated living room, calmly discussing La-Z-Boy's 85th anniversary sale. "Eighty-five years, that's a really big deal," she says. "They don't need some loud ad that screams 'sale!'- just me telling you about the great deals on gorgeous furniture." Just then, horns trumpet, balloons drop from the ceiling and a nine-foot tall flashing sign lit up with "85th Anniversary Sale" slides across the set. "Guys, I thought we weren't doing this?" Shields asks with a confused yet playful and cheeky tone.

    "For a household name, Brooke maintains a down-to-earth, relatable persona that's genuinely approachable," said RPA CD Jules Fox. "The situational humor used in the campaign plays on Brooke's lighthearted personality and appeals to the sensibilities of our target audience."

    "Shut Up" introduces an incredulous neighbor who yells "Shut up!" and punches Shields every time she learns that a new piece of furniture came from La-Z-Boy, inspiring the spooked spokeswoman to begin replying to her inquiries via text message from a safe location. Late 2012, the TV campaign continues with "Elephant," which demonstrates the advantages of previewing purchases with La-Z-Boy's online customization tool and stars a life-sized computer-generated elephant, and later "Neighbor" will air featuring a binocular-wielding snoop who cannot fathom the beautiful living room is all made by La-Z-Boy.

    The TV commercials will run on more than 30 cable networks in the U.S. and Canada, including HGTV, Food Network, Lifetime, Oxygen and USA. Two online videos, a Q&A with Shields where the actress talks openly about working with La-Z-Boy and a flipbook, which rapidly cascades through La-Z-Boy-designed rooms, will live on http://www.la-z-boy.com/. Print will appear in a variety of publications such as "Better Homes & Gardens," "Country Living" and "Martha Stewart Living" and online units will run as pre-roll or banners.

    Komen Eten is the Flemish version of Come Dine With Me, a format that is broadcast throughout the world. Everyone knows that at the end of the evening contestants give points in the back of the car that drives them home. This particular situation was used to create a surprising online commercial for the BIVV, the Belgian Institute for Road Safety. Ad agency, Proximity launched the movie with the title “The first zero in Komen Eten” and had it posted on the YouTube channel of Vier, the network that broadcasts the program. This way the surprise was complete for unsuspecting viewers. Now discover it for yourself.

    He gave the restaurant a 7 and we give him a 0 for safety.

    All the national media, online and offline, picked up the movie immediately. Facebook and Twitter joined in. Even the federal police tweeted the video. Two days after the launch it was still the top video on Twitter and YouTube.

    "Scorched" 2013 Subaru BRZ TV Spot

    The highly anticipated 2013 Subaru BRZ rear-wheel-drive sports coupe makes its debut in Canada with the launch of a new campaign ‘Scorched,’ and car aficionados and passionate drivers will agree, car porn has never looked so good.

    Developed by DDB Canada’s Toronto office, the national campaign features a 60-second online film, ‘Scorched,’ shot with Phantom camera technology, creating extreme slow-motion shots. The suspenseful story unfolds inside a garage where an unknown source of heat melts everything in its path. Amplified by a dubstep track, “Execute” by Excision, the final shot reveals the heat source to be the Subaru BRZ emerging out of a drift, demonstrating that the BRZ handles as incredibly as it looks.

    “The Subaru BRZ is a hot car, with a great deal of excitement already surrounding its release,” says Todd Mackie, creative director, DDB Canada. “We wanted to create a visual story to mirror that anticipation while captivating both existing fans and reaching new ones.”

    Print, online, ambient, social media, public relations and targeted blogger outreach round out the campaign; each highlighting the sizzling sports coupe. Selectmedia and bloggers also got the opportunity to feed their gear head inside by attending the ‘Scorched’ shoot, to get a rare, behind-the-scenes peek at the Subaru BRZ in action.

    “This is Subaru’s first rear-wheel drive sports coupe and with limited quantities available in Canada this year, it’s the most highly anticipated launch in the category,” says Geoff Craig, director of marketing, Subaru Canada. “We challenged DDB to accelerate the buzz and launch the BRZ with creative that’s just as hot as the car.”

    A hologram lenticular in The Grid and attention-grabbing creative in national newspapers and magazines reveals the BRZ burning through the pages. Similarly, online advertising burns up computer screens and tablets to unveil the hot new sports car.

    The Subaru BRZ turned heads at the 2012 Montreal Grand Prix (June 8-10), with an ambient street-art installation produced by DDB Public Relations. The BRZ was showcased as part of an eye-popping, movie-style set featuring a burnt mailbox, singed bike rack, melted street lamp and a massive 32’ heat-blasted brick wall. The result was a surreal replica of a Montreal street corner that appeared to have been utterly “scorched” by the hot new sports car.

    To enhance the installation DDB Public Relations engagedCanadian NFC tech firm, TAPmeTAGS Inc. to provide NFC enabled tags as part of a test-pilot program to encourage consumer interaction onsite. Singed wild postings surrounding the installation encouraged passersby to “tap or snap” using their NFC phones. This directed consumers to a dedicated BRZ landing page where they could learn more about the vehicle, view images and book a test drive.

    The Montreal ambient installation is the first of a series, with more coming to major cities across Canada this summer.

    (Boston, MA, Tuesday, October 2, 2012) — WGBH announced the official launch of the revamped Design Squad Nation®, an online community that provides kids with a forum to express their adventurous, do-it-yourself spirit and share their creative ideas with other like-minded kids. Hot on the heels of a renewed DIY movement, the PBS KIDS Design Squad Nation website is the latest iteration of a franchise that includes a four-season run of the Emmy® and Peabody Award-winning TV shows Design Squad and Design Squad Nation.     Why it's important

    By nature, every young kid is a budding engineer: building contraptions with glue and Popsicle sticks or sketching an idea for an automatic pet feeder. But as kids get older, they have fewer moments in their daily lives where they can develop those critical thinking skills. Design Squad Nation fuels kids' spirit of inventiveness, providing a destination where they can discover firsthand that engineering isn't something done by boring grownups in hidden labs: it's solving problems in creative ways...everyday, and all around you.

    How it works

    Kids can join Design Squad Nation for free; earn points by contributing ideas, sketches, and photos of the projects they dream up; and keep track of all the things they have made in their own profile pages. As users contribute more to the site, they earn more points and move up in rank from "Newbie" to "Phenom." The goal is to frame the design process as a game, encouraging a virtuous cycle that gets kids to continue sharing their own ideas while cheering on others to do the same.

    Kids ask great questions that deserve great answers! On Design Squad Nation, engineer-hosts Nate Ball and Deysi Melgar respond to questions in a series of short videos posted online. One week, Nate will add his own ideas to kids' sketches of waterpark rides. The next, Deysi will share what's so amazing about NASA's Curiosity Mars rover. The campaign uses the insight that poor storage doesn’t just cause mess and clutter, it also affects our relationships and the people we live with. By illustrating the effects of poor storage, the new spot demonstrates that making room for your life through good storage can be the first step towards happiness and wellbeing.

    The campaign launches with the TV ad ‘Living Together’ in the UK and Ireland on 19 January. The spot, created by the agency Mother, shows a couple kept apart by a maze of mess. However, thanks to smart storage solutions from IKEA, the couple can tidy their way through the maze, removing the clutter from their lives to finally meet across a KIVIK sofa bed.

    ‘Living Together’ features a cover version of the Bee Gees song ‘Living Together’ by the band An Escape Plan. Three versions of the TV advert have been produced and include 60” and 30” adverts that run until 23 March on TV as well as a full length music video running online at http://www.youtube.com/ikeauk. The campaign also features outdoor, press ads and two filmed documentaries that will be launching on 11 February on the IKEA UK YouTube page.

    The campaign is also integrated into the IKEA FAMILY loyalty programme with a series of editorial-style e-newsletters, direct mail and product focused online content, created by agency LIDA. The emails direct members of the programme to further online content packed with ideas and tips to help them ‘make room for your life’ and suggest how they can cut out clutter and get sorted with storage in order to be more organised for the year ahead. They also give a taster of the new products launching in-store.

We decided to illustrate this in our TV spot which shows a couple unable to get to each other because their stuff forms a maze keeping them apart. They have to clean up their home in order to be together.”

    Capital C Goes Back To School In New Toshiba Ad Campaign

    There's chickens, black light grossness and an cornical math notes in Capital C's latest for Toshiba directed by Aleysa Young of Untitled Films and edited by Marco Pazzano, Panic & Bob. Capital C has tapped into dorm life to launch a new online ad campaign for Toshiba laptops, desktops and tablets.
    Consisting of 3 videos, display ads and a Facebook contest, the campaign is aimed at young adults that are outfitting themselves for the upcoming year. The videos show the utility of Toshiba products and how they make campus life easier. In one commercial, for example, it shows how Toshiba’s All-in-One desktop with gesture control can come to the rescue when you’ve been plastic wrapped to your bed in a dorm room filled with live chickens.

    “We wanted to showcase the innovative features of Toshiba products in a way that would really resonate with our audience,” says Sherry Lyons, VP Corporate and Marketing Communications at Toshiba of Canada Limited. “Humour is great way to educate and entertain viewers at the same time.”

    Another video finds two students checking out their new dorm room CSI-style with a USB-powered black light — promoting the Toshiba Satellite P-series laptop’s ability to power and charge USB devices even when the laptop is closed.

    The final commercial shows how the Toshiba Excite Write tablet has the ability to convert handwriting and drawings into notes you can save and share when one student inadvertently sends his roommate a sketch of him posing heroically as a muscular centaur.

    “We really tried to capture insights about life on campus. Like how disgusting a dorm could actually be or how well do you really know the guy you’re rooming with,” comments Gary Watson, Executive Creative Director, Capital C. “We focused on the product itself and built storylines around those features. It just so happened that they inspired some fun thinking.”

    The videos were directed by Aleysa Young of Untitled Films and edited by Marco Pazzano of Panic & Bob, both who were chosen for their experience working on youth-oriented brands with a comedic slant.

    Complementing the online videos is a Facebook contest where people can not only win the Toshiba products featured in the videos but gag gifts inspired by the campaign. “We really wanted to make sure the social initiative felt like it was coming from the same place, with the same sensibility,” adds Gary Watson. “So, not only can you win the products in the ads, you can also win a USB-powered black light and rubber chickens.”

    Street Artist INSA Creates Outdoor Live Event for Ketel One Vodka

    Ketel One Vodka is launching a unique outdoor live event, by 180 Amsterdam, featuring the world’s only ‘GIF-iti’ artist as part of its international “Do One Thing Well” campaign.

    Celebrated British street artist INSA, who creates art in public spaces that is brought to life online, is painting intricate murals in an event space in Amsterdam’s arts district, Roest.

    INSA meticulously paints and repaints his images on a wall by hand and photographs each version. The images are then played in sequence online as an animated GIF, in a process he has dubbed “GIF-iti”.

    When INSA’s Ketel One animated GIF-iti is complete, it will be projected on screen at a launch party in a bar at the event space on March 22nd. Then the animated work will then be seeded globally online, alongside a making-of film.

    Ketel One chose INSA for the campaign because, it says, like the Diageo-owned vodka brand, INSA “has a bold vision and a history of not doing things by the book”.

    Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation — Run For The Future

    The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) and DARE are launching an emotive new national campaign across TV, print, radio and online, to drive participation in the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure being held this year on Sunday, October 6.

    The new campaign was born through a strategic planning process, built on a compelling goal: with the support of the community, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will realize its vision of creating a future without breast cancer.

    While CBCF’s vision is a clear one, previous Run marketing campaigns had taken a retrospective view, in memory of those who have struggled with the disease. DARE saw the need to re-focus on the central mission, making clear that the CIBC Run for the Cure is a step towards change for the future of women across Canada. The resulting campaign was thus developed around the strategic territory of “Running for the Future” – a future without breast cancer.

    The creative, developed by DARE`s Executive Creative Director Paul Little, brought this strategic insight to life using the simple yet powerful concept of children telling us who they are running for in the future. Whether a daughter, wife or granddaughter who might be diagnosed with breast cancer, the campaign highlights that it is a future that they shouldn’t have to face, if we continue to raise funds and work toward finding a cure for breast cancer.

    The TV executions, shot by Philistine, which is currently directors Tim Godsall and Steven Diller from OPC //FS, each focus on one story told by a child of the future person they are running for, while the print, shot by Melodie McDaniel from Brydges Mackinney, shows the simple line of who the children are running for in the future.

    Chris Burke, Senior Manager, Event Marketing at CBCF, explains, “All charities, particularly health and cancer charities, are facing the challenge of a more crowded, sophisticated and competitive marketing environment. For CBCF, that’s comes against the backdrop of some great achievements in recent years. In 2012, it was estimated that 88 percent of women diagnosed with breast cancer will be alive five years after diagnosis, a 10 percent increase in the survival rate since 1987. This campaign reframes the discussion; making the cause relevant to everyone again and making people realize that this is still very much a cause that they should do something about, for women now and in the future.”

    "We wanted to switch things up this year” adds DARE ECD Paul Little. "We wanted a different kind of logic that would make people really think about why they should participate in this event. The unfortunate reality is that breast cancer is harsh, but reminding us of that in a heavy handed ad isn't new. We wanted to surprise people and help them feel motivated by this initiative again.”
    The national campaign consists of four 30 second TV commercials (3 in English and 1 in French), five print pieces, 2 radio spots and online banners. It also features strong social media elements, to extend the relationship with participants well before and beyond Run day. This includes a Facebook App that helps people submit their reasons for participating, creating shareable content to encourage people to support their friends who are getting involved.

    “TJFF is largely perceived to be a religious festival – featuring movies heavy on Jewish content and light on action, drama, suspense and laughs,” says David Ross, creative director, DDB Canada. “To expand our reach to include a younger Jewish and non-Jewish demographic, we set out to demonstrate that people are already fans of movies that feature Jewish contribution, they just might not be aware of it.”

    DJ Tiësto Stars In Latest Campaign For Acer Aspire

    Tiësto, the Dutch DJ is the latest famous face to appear in the advertising campaign for Acer, encouraging people to explore beyond their limits.

    The musician, voted #1 DJ by Rolling Stone Magazine appears in a new online film for the brand which breaks globally on 3 May.

    In the spot, created by Mother, we are introduced to Tiësto’s assistant Vernon who shares his boss’s love of music and uses his Acer Aspire P3 both for work and exploring life beyond his day job.

    Vernon organises Tiësto’s schedule on his Ultrabook™, but in his free time he uses it for DJing, to the annoyance of everyone but his boss.

    Vernon’s DJ skills come in handy when Tiësto gets trapped inside a zorb during a live gig and he is called in to take over the decks. Not only does he save the day with his Acer Aspire P3, but he also gets the girl, in this case the model, Poppy Delevigne.

    All media across Europe was planned and purchased by DWA, the Acer agency of record for EMEA media buying. The mix includes a heavy investment across online media with a significant focus on delivering rich ad interaction, video plays, social sharing and mobile distribution. Chris Bagnall, DWA’s Managing Director Acer Client Services said “this campaign evolves the explore beyond limits Acer brand promise and takes it to a new level for 2013. We are making full use of an online environment to engage people through a variety of different platforms, formats and targeting techniques”.

    New creative work from creative ad agency DDB Canada's Toronto office is unveiled for Toronto Crime Stoppers in an effort to raise awareness and drive attendance to the event with Police Chief Bill Blair and as the tagline reads, every cop in the city will be there. The event which was formerly known as the "Chief of Police Gala Dinner" was re-branded by DDB to help guests better understand the benefit of the event.

    The online video and print ad to promote this year’s event plays on the notion that with many of the city’s crime fighting elite attending the event, it would be ‘The Perfect Night To Commit A Crime.”

    Now in it's 17th year, the Toronto Crime Stoppers Ball takes place on May 8, 2013 at the Liberty Grand Complex.

    British Museum acquires Trust for African Rock Art collection

    The British Museum has acquired a digital copy of the Trust for African Rock Art (TARA) photographic archive to ensure that this important collection is preserved and made widely available, thanks to generous support from the Arcadia Fund. The 25,000 digital photographs of rock art sites from across Africa will be catalogued and made accessible through the British Museum’s online collection catalogue, drawing on documentation from TARA staff and archaeological and anthropological research. The Museum will digitise its own African pictorial collection of 19th and 20th century photographs alongside the TARA images to support the integration of this archive.

    British Museum acquires Trust for African Rock Art collection

    The Museum’s African pictorial collection contains nearly 15,000 photographs that range from negatives, gel photos, glass plates, prints, and most recently, digital photographs. These are used for research, exhibitions, training, community outreach, museum partnership programmes and publications. Pictures in this collection are from throughout the African continent and embody the early stages of the medium up to the present day. Subjects include daily life, art, portraiture, official government photographs, natural landscapes and pictures from pre-colonial, colonial and independent Africa. The collection also holds film, video and audio recordings from various time periods and regions.

    The TARA collection will be presented through the British Museum’s Collection Online and will form one of the most complete searchable databases on African rock art worldwide. Africa’s rock painting tradition is believed to date back at least 50,000 years while abstract engravings in the Cape, South Africa have been dated to 77,000 years of age.

    Today only a handful of isolated cultures still engage in rock art and a few sites are still used for rituals, such as fertility and rainmaking, showing that it is still a living form of expression. TARA’s work over the last 30 years has created one of the best and most extensive photographic surveys of African rock art. Highlights from this collection include images of sites across the Fezzan of Southwest Libya, with dates ranging from 10,000 BC to 100 AD. These include sites in the Messak Sattafet as well as in the Acacus Mountains, (part of the Tadrart-Acacus trans-frontier UNESCO World Heritage site) and depict a wide range of subjects, such as hippopotami, men in chariots and hunting scenes.

    There is a survey of South African sites showing the different styles and subject matters of the Khoi, San and other groups from thousands of years ago to the recent past day. The collection also includes engravings and graffiti by European settlers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In east Africa, the TARA archive contains geometric paintings and engravings by Twa forager-hunters as well as paintings of livestock, shields and clan markings made by Maasai and Samburu pastoralists in rock shelters. In addition to these depictions there are images of rock gongs, rocks with natural resonance once used for communication and divination.

    As rock art can be susceptible to destruction by natural and man-made events, and, in most cases, is fairly inaccessible geographically, this project will allow a greater access to rock art images and research for both academic and general audiences. By integrating these images with existing African collections, the British Museum is able to offer new insights into the techniques and tools used, the subjects represented and the people that made them.

    The project will take five years and involve research by Museum staff and on-going collaboration with TARA, as well as involving African communities. Through the incorporation of this collection into the British Museum’s online database, people across the world will be able to both use and contribute to the archive and its documentation. Partnership between TARA and the Museum will help preserve and disseminate this important collection and establish it as a major academic resource. By combining a wide range of research from the Museum, TARA’s international network and colleagues in Africa, the archive will capture and preserve knowledge about rock art for future generations.
