As it turns out the Boston Pizza PizzaBurger wasn't a joke after all, above is a new commercial that begs us to eat said burger for all of mankind. The ad goes back in time to remind us that cavemen, the knights, the peasants, the Vikings, the cowboys and even the Romans have suffered long enough without the PizzaBurger.
We thought this was just a joke when Boston Pizza uploaded this video (below) to YouTube on April 1st introducing the Pizzaburger that will be sold in all of the chain's 345 Canadian locations.
The chain also announced it's bun-less new menu in a press release and officially introduced the Pepperoni Bacon Pizzaburger to it's menu.

Anchoring Boston Pizza's new bun-less menu is The Pizzaburger, a half-pound prime rib burger wrapped in hand-pressed pizza dough and baked to order. The Pizzaburger is available in two varieties – Pepperoni & Bacon and Five-Cheese.
